Essex Shoresearch Essex Wildlife Trust's Shoresearch program has been attended by groups of staff and students from the University at sites around the Colne estuary to survey intertidal habitats present in Essex.

The Shoresearch program uses skilled volunteers to identify and record marine plants and animals in their natural habitats on the Essex coast. This data is used by the Trust to monitor the state of Essex shore life and identify changes occurring and areas in need of protection.

The most recent event took place at Cudmore Grove Country Park, East Mersea on Saturday 27th June. Please contact Sarah Allison of the EWT (shoresearch@essexwt.org.uk) for more information.
